Driving Tour – Our local guide will take you on a tour of beautiful Charters Towers and give you an insight to the towns rich history.

Towers Hill – while having a light morning tea you will be able to take in the glorious view of Charters Towers and its surrounding areas and learn more of its rich past as you take a look around the information posts at your own leisure.

Zara Clark Museum – Owned by the National Trust, step back in time to see the many wonders of our past. Every spare space has been filled with the wonders of our yesteryear.

The Miners Cottage – a unique little destination. Filled to the rafters with interesting trinkets and antiques of yesteryear. It really is a hidden treasure. Why not try your hand at panning and see if you can ‘Strike it rich’ but be sure not to catch the elusive ‘Gold Fever’ A fantastic attraction for young and old, local or tourist!

Enterprise Hotel – enjoy a roast meal and dessert in a relaxed atmosphere. Have a quick flutter at the TAB, try your luck at KENO or a quick spin on the pokies!

Venus Battery – Located on the outskirts of town, the Venus Gold Battery offers an insight into an amazing real-life gold rush of the late 19th century. The battery is of national cultural significance as the largest surviving battery relic in Australia and the oldest surviving battery in Queensland.

Morning Tea is included, lunch is available from The Enterprise Hotel at passenger’s expense.
